blue tit babies in the dark

i was looking at a bush trying to work out the location of the baby blue tits i could plainley hear shouting for there dinner it turnd out to be built in a bolt reces on the gate there was very little room and although i could hear them i could not see them cos thay were in the dark the gate is opend and closed 50 times a day my heart was in my mouth every time.....thay had all flown the nest today.....happy day

Of all the places they could nest and they go and choose somewhere like that. Just like this nest, it makes you wonder why we should ever bother building boxes for them
