| | | Canada Goose a public drowning? I witnessed two Canada Geese taking part in some very strange behaviour, below are two images the first shows one Goose literally ringing the other ones neck. http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/ga...mage-7661.html
The second shows him trying to drown it and I mean drown it! http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/ga...mage-7660.html
With just the head visible under the Gooses body.
I have seen female mallards being drowned in the act of mating but never seen Geese act like this.
May be it was two male's fighting it out?
Any thoughts, clean ones only please.

| | | Re: Canada Goose a public drowning? Not only your Geese, my mallard scene was also weird. One poor female and partner were set upon by three other males, two of which were large hybrids. Nothing would stop them... |

| | | Re: Canada Goose a public drowning? Perhaps in the first image he was trying to position the bird, but in the second one I can only assume the goose thinks its a submarine. http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/ga...mage-7660.html
