| | | Re: rare bird Don't laugh..Ive only been birding since march/ april when we moved house and its not rare but the rarest i have photographed is a sparrowhawk!! ( not counting an owl as it was not wild)

jen xxx | I wouldn't laugh at photographing a Sparrowhawk, I think they're fantastic and I've yet to get a pic of one. |

| | | Re: rare bird I have been in the fortunate position to both twitch and photograph many rare birds and my list is quite extensive from Green Heron to American Robin. From Black Lark to King Eider, I could go on an on.
I suppose possibly the rarest bird globally that I have photographed (and even a small video of it) was the Rainham Marshes Sociable Plover from Jan 2005.
