Gets her name from the bulging, or "vee" in her neck when flying.
I've seen her a couple of times in the company of experts.
3 or 4 years old at least.

near island mere hide. | Spot on Hobjob! I was in Island Mere hide when I took it. This was on one of the 6 am guided walks specifically to look for marsh harriers and bitterns. An earlier start than I'm used to but well worth it.
