| | | Two Herons Hello everyone, please excuse my lack of knowledge in the subject but i have a quick question. Today i saw two Herons flying together over head, i was just wondering as i've only seen them on there own before, do they pair up and how long do they stay together? |

Not sure how long this lasts though. |

I live within one mile of a large Heron Roost (Coombe Abbey) and I can get quite a few birds flying to & fro from there. I had about ten together the other night.

| | | Re: Two Herons Not sure about the solitary aspect - the herons at Trentham Gardens are quite sociable - upwards of 20 can be seen on the island. Only seen singly when hunting though. |
