| | | Re: Cornwall Holiday St.Ives can be a good sea-watching place if the wind's in right direction, if not head south to Porthgwarra, Hayle Estuary can be good for waders, Spoonbill, Little Egret + not unusual to have a Yank there like American Wigeon (not currently though!), Marazion, near Penzance on the south coast + you could look for the Choughs on the Lizard.
Cornwall is a fantastic county- have fun! |

| | | Re: Cornwall Holiday Go to Porthgwarra. A place of bewitching beauty and dramatic coastline. I believe Dartford Warblers can be found there as well. You'll love it!

| | | Re: Cornwall Holiday Well north Cornwall isn't far from Devon (whisper that ...) so you may not be too far fro, Staunton Burrows, one of the best dune systems in the country, where you'll find all sorts of wildlife, not just birds ...
Have fun, wherever you go Quote:

| | | Re: Cornwall Holiday Looe is a good bet, on the south coast of cornwall. A lovely little fishing village and when i went there last winter I got close to little egrets and oystercatchers. Also there rock pools in abundance at low tide in west looe shore, where u can also find seals at low tide
Also Calstock is a nice walk along the river tamar | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
