| | Bit of excitement before bedtime An owl has just flown over the garden and into a near by pine tree. It scared the neighbour’s dogs and was squawking for all it was worth. Not sure, what type of owl it was, but it was a fair size. It sat in the tree for a while as it ate what it had just caught. I am hoping that it caught the cat from next door, but I think it was just a mouse. We have a nesting pair of Red kites by us but this is the first time that I have seen an owl. Any one got any idea what it might be? |

What a lovely sighting for you! |

| | | Re: Bit of excitement before bedtime I am not sure if this was a one off or if he is a regular visitor that I have not noticed before. I shall be looking out for him tonight to see if I can get a better look at him. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
