!! Dove Attacks Sparrowhawk !!

My neighbour attached an imitation sparrowhawk to his TV ariel
to deter birds from landing and damaging it. I was concerned it
my spook the birds visiting my garden. I needn't of worried.

It made my day when I spotted this. Just thought I'd share it.

Re: !! Dove Attacks Sparrowhawk !!

i'd say owl cross with a chicken.pathetic!they just don't make plastic peregrines like they used to do they? looking at the state of it,i'm not surprised the dove plonked himself down.probably thought it was his long lost half brother,or something... great pic!i couldn't help smiling!have you shown your neighbour yet?

Re: !! Dove Attacks Sparrowhawk !!

Yes, I agree with the others, it's an owl. A rather red-looking one, it's probably mortified to have a collard-dove sitting on its head lol!

I was thinking about showing him just to see the look on his face, but unfortunately
you might be right. I think he might take it up as a challenge.
