| | | Aren't peregrines brilliant! I took my young family to the RSPB's aren't birds brilliant stand at the Tate modern yesterday to view the peregrines. Alas no birds! Fortunately we hung around long enough and the male returned and we got great views of him preening. On the way back two juveniles arrived although the wrong side of the telescopes for viewing. My own juveniles were thrilled!
This was my fourth visit as I work in the City and I have seen the birds each time although nearly out of luck yesterday. I would recommend anyone in the area to pop down and have a look. The RSPB are there until September, the Peregrines all year. |

| | | Re: Aren't peregrines brilliant! If anyone is in Perth at any time, watch out for the nesting pair in Tay Street. There was a photo of one of the adults in the Dundee Courier yesterday, where it was also reported that sparrowhawks are on the up in that area too |

In reply to your topic title Bad bird watcher, yes Peregrines are brilliant I feel privaliged to be able to see a Peregrine family down at our local beach off the cliffs. I must take a visit to London and see these ones! I adore Peregrines, they are so exciting to watch
