| | Unknown Ducks (Juvenilles) Hi all,
Saw these on Anglesey today, I think they might be Juvenille Pintails? Any help?

These are definitely not Pintails.
I would suggest that they are eclipse (moulting) Mallards .... or one of those strange many varieties hybrids!

| | | Re: Unknown Ducks (Juvenilles) Thats what I thought - but they have definate blue bills - mallards have yellow or brown, even domestic mallards.

| | | Re: Unknown Ducks (Juvenilles) Steve, scroll through this lot: “Manky Mallards” (domestic, feral, or just plain odd Mallards)
You'll see one or two with blue bills

Cheers
