Apparently, male and female Penduline Tits can mate with up to 7 different partners in any one breeding season and frequently vary their attitude to childcare between different clutches .... amazing stuff!
Imagine trying to keep track of that level of promiscuity all in the name of scientific research

This behaviour makes even "Big Brother" appear boring .... actually I think that programme is boring and a complete waste of airtime anyway but that is a different story.
Penduline Tits are not resident UK birds but are recorded here fairly regularly. I have seen 2 in the UK, both at Titchwell RSPB reserve in Norfolk. Neither bird was engaged in .... s**
