I bought one and set a really realistic scene in the garden,it was
mobbed for a minute or so then treated as part of the furniture
Those little Swallows certainly have shown their contempt

Well she did say that she and her husband love swallows but this year they needed the space in the barn so couldnt have them nesting.

hi this is not about swollows but herons,i had a lot of my fish taken last summer by a heron so purchased a fake heron,stood it beside the pond hoping that would sort it out,no it didnt he stood next to the thing looking in the pond i chased him off and netted the pond,sorted.

Aw that is so sweet, how lucky she is to have them nesting there, I'm envious Perhaps I should buy one of those owls and see what I can attract rather than scare off
