Can anyone identify these ducks?
They were swimming on the river weaver, their beaks were green and they were quite timid but apart from that, I know no more. We thought they might be eider ducks but it says in our books eider ducks are a marine species and we are about 50 miles from the coast.

Domestic ducks derived from Mallard.
