| | | can anyone identify this bird i saw a bird in my garden and can not identify it can anyone help
the bird was very wet with the rain ,the size of a sparrow and just like a mini starling
slim with speckled breast and with red around the front ,only saw for very short time
it was ground feeding and we live in west yorkshire,anyone know ? thanks |

| | | Re: can anyone identify this bird I'd go for juvenile Robin too. They're beginning to get the red breast about now so don't look like the more familiar adults but have varying hints of red on an otherwise brown and speckled plumage. |
