I know this site well. It is by the sluice near the beach and has long been known as one of the best places to get close to Swallows. At times you can get to within inches if you are careful. Here are some shots I took as far back as the 1st of May this year.
This next one was taken on 07/05/2006.
If you want Swallow shots this is the place to be. I can't think of many places where they will pose literally inches from your face for long periods at a time.

Za | Absolutely, especially early in the season such as the beginning of May.
