Bird-watching in Galloway?

Hi there; just wondering if anyone could point me in any good directions for bird-watching in galloway- like perhaps cormorants or other birds; I'm a photographer so would want to be taking my camera a long- I have a decent lens so don't need to be too close... 300mm if that helps any of you
Also anyone know of any sites for kingfishers- would love to snap one of these in the wild;
I've been on the Red Kite trail and at the Red Kite feeding station but is there anything else that I've missed lol thanks for any help

The Wood of Cree is beautiful and is a good place to see pied flycatchers (as well as lots of other woodland birds) and has some pretty waterfalls.
