Pale Coloured Great Tit?

It was wet and cloudy this morning and we had gold and green finches visiting the feeders. I was about to take some pictures and had just taken the camera up to the window when they were disturbed by the fast approach of this washed-out looking Great Tit.

Is this the time of year or are the juveniles usually this pale?

The posture and the attitude of squeezed-together legs when perching are typical great tit.
