Great Crested Grebe Display

I found a pair of great crested grebes on a nearby lake. Does anyone know what sort of time I'll be likely to catch them displaying?

The couple on our local reserve have been displaying for a couple of weeks now, head shaking and weed passing. Each to their own I suppose...................Jon

Re: Great Crested Grebe Display

I've been lucky enough to see grebes courting at Croxall Lakes and Branston Water Park over the last few weeks.

Head shaking and weed passing - we are referring to grebes and not students then?
