| | Red Kites at Doune Has anyone visited the Argaty feeding centre at Doune? I'm off up to the region for two weeks in November and wondered what the chances of seeing Kites away from the feeding area was.
Has anyone 'done' the "Trossachs Bird of Prey Trail"? |

| | | Re: Red Kites at Doune hi - we live not too far away and though we haven't visited recently i'm pretty sure you're almost guaranteed to see them if you've an hour to spend. There is an RSPB hide their though it's not that well advertised. When we were there they sent out one of the members on a quad to leave food for them so you can watch them come down to feed, it was absolutely terrific, our kids were completely hooked, truely magnificent birds. Enjoy! Argaty Red Kites | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
