| | | Last cuckoo! There's always a bit of a race on to hear the first cuckoo, but when can we expect to hear the 'last' one. For me, it was last weekend and I don't recall hearing one in July before.

| | | Re: Last cuckoo! Adults normally leav late June leaving juvs in July until they depart in mid Aug, however I have heard a Cuckoo singing for the first time in July, after over 30 years birding it was very notable |
