| | | Help Please worried!!!!!!!!! My mum just came in bout 5 -10 mins ago from taking the dog for a pee and she said she saw a injured black bird out there.
I looked at it and it`s the same one i saw a couple of days ago, it doesn`t really move till you`re right up close to it unlike a normal bird and i just look at it left wing and it`s sort of dangling down. And i was just wandering is this normal?i don`t wether it`s pregnant or injured plz help as i`m quiet worried about him/her.Oh and it`s in the same place that i saw it a couple days ago.plz help
Thanks |

It sounds like it may be a juvenile blackbird, if it's been there for two days and is still alive then it must be being fed by the parents. I would leave it be, they often don't fly for a bit when they leave the nest as they often fledge early and need time to grow and strengthen their wing muscles, as for the wing it's probably not broken, they often have weak wings to start with as above, keep an eye but dont be tempted to touch it, and as long as there are no cats about i'm sure it will be fine |
