Jackdaw - not well?
Last weekend, at Miller's Dale, many jackdaws and other crows nesting in the rocks but this one looked distinctly unhealthy. I suppose it could have been moulting (but no other ones were) but this looked seriously scraggy - any suggestions?

by the tail looks like a fledgling.

some baby birds look realy scuffy

It looks a bit scruffy to me too. Would this be the case with a Jackdaw fledgling ? I know it happens in some birds after raising chicks as they don't have the time to keep themselves looking good.
