Hiya to all,

just been checking out the web for anything new re rearing of orphaned birds as its been a couple of years since I had one and came across this site. Very impressive. Currently rearing a Blackbird nestling a casulty of the recently rains. His (ive named him Dickie) 2 brothers/sisters seem ok in the garden and mum and dad are rallying them around, they came off a week early due to the rain flooding the nest but poor old Dickie was left and a found him close to death, he has rallied and gradually improving, started to ask for food now, always a good sign mind you it was at four thirty this morning, never mind will all be worth it if I can get him released sucessfully.
