| | | Re: Baby bird It's not eating the food. Wat do i do?! I'm using a pair of tweezers and tappin the side of its beak like the mam would do.. but it just pushes its beak into the tweezers and wont open the beak. I reckon its only about a week old. Its grey with beigy hairs on it. Its beak is pretty long for its head and has a dark brown stripe and a beige tip and the end... |

| | | Re: Baby bird Without identifying baby birds it is impossible to advise what to feed as it may be totally the wrong thing. You really need to get it to your nearest wildlife rescue centre as soon as possible so that it can be given the correct diet.

| | | Re: Baby bird Hi Tanzy
I`d do what Wildliferesuer said, because It is legal to take in and keep most injured wild birds for the purpose of looking after them and releasing them as soon as they are fit.
Read The RSPB: Advice: Injured wild birds and the law for more info.
But i`d defo try and get it to a pro rescue place.
Best of luck hope he/she survives.
