| | | Duck ID please :o) Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone knows what this duck species is? Pictured with canada geese and mallards for scale. I assume it's feral / escaped but thought I'd ask in case anyone knows. Photographed in Nottinghamshire.

| | | Re: Duck ID please :o) Possibly, but it's about twice the size of a mallard, really quite big. |

| | | Re: Duck ID please :o) It's definitely a hybrid, and at least part Mallard/domestic duck, but I wonder if it's got some Pintail in it? The bill looks very Pintail like, and the head colour as well. The yellow eye is unusual, as most dabbling ducks have dark eyes.
