| | | blackbird nest Hi
I was after a bit of advice. Is it possible for birds to move their babies?
I have a nest in my garden that up until saturday had 3 babies in it. I'd beenkeeping a close eye on the nest watching them grow but found out yesterday that the nest is empty.
I cannot see any sign of anything bad happening but I am also confused. Any info would be great.

| | | Re: blackbird nest Sounds like they may have been taken by a predator then as birds can't move their young. |

| | | Re: blackbird nest i saw wren move a family once. one spring i was cutting trees that had been blown over , in one of the root plates there was a nest i spotted on the initial inspection, and decided to give it a bit of space , but the wren thought different and moved them out . i watched her perch and call them . on looking around i found the chicks . i kept an eye on her/him all day but eventually lost them. hope they made it | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
