Duck with bad hair-do!
Came across a sad looking duck today, picture below, anyone knows the cause or reason for this? It looked perfectly healthy.

At first sight it does, but it's more like long hair, it billows out in the wind. Of course there could easily be something like a tumour under it all..

I could be wrong but I think that is an "ornamental" breed of Mallard. Don't know the name though.

A type of Crested Duck. Haven't been able to ID the breed yet but will keep trying.
