| | | Blackbird Nest diary! :D Hi all,
I have been tracking Blackbirds for many a month and have been privileged to have a nest in my back garden. I am making a small little hide so it will be easier to photograph the chicks and adults. As most of you know Blackbirds are common british birds, the eggs are predicted to hatch between 2nd-6th June . The eggs are showing the first wriggles and rolls of signs of life and as little creases and cracks start forming the chicks are soon to hatch.
Photos to come of adults and chicks . |

| | | Re: Blackbird Nest diary! :D Great Idea! but Just a thought though try to avoid pictures actually on the nest as these arn't really allowed on WAB so that people don't try to copy and end up causing disturbance or even desertion to active nest sites |

After watching carefully this nest for about 1 week the 3 eggs have finally hatched the chirps of the chicks welcomes people who come into the garden , the parents inclduing a handsome male Blackbird are often visiting our garden with food . They have brought the chicks food that varies between Dragonflies , maggots to long stringy earthworms.
