| | | Re: Eagle Owl in Northants. Hi Ash
I have had no chance to go for the bird yet. Last weekend I was in Norfolk on the Saturday and Sunday and Monday was a total washout. I certainly wasn't going to venture out in that weather.
Today saw me driving up to Gibraltar Point, near Skegness, in the hope of finding the Greater Yellowlegs, but of course it didn't show. Tomorrow I have to go into Birmingham after a part for one of my outdoor Bio Filters, plus I have to go over to Kings Bromley as well so tomorrow is going to be out by the look of it.
That looks like my chances of seeing it have gone as next weekend I am on the Farnes, Northumberland, and the week after I am at Thursley with the WAB meet.
