I got a nice surprise today, I had just come back into my living room,when something caught my eye on my balcony ledge,I was surprised to see a wet kestrel sitting there.I ran to get my camera and only managed 3 shots through my window(which needs cleaning  )
It saw me after the third and dived over the edge.Bit of a shock in central London!

You lucky blighter good shots, I also take photos through my window and yes they are never clean at that moment, still who cares.

Nice shots, they can be quite confiding birds, he may carry on using your balcony as a perch if you're lucky. We once had one walk into our utility room!
