Sparrowhawk?

As I was typing just now I caught a movement from the corner of my eye
It looked like a hawk of some sort,on looking more closely there is a circle
of feathers on the lawn beneath the feeders did I miss a sparrowhawk kill?
Victim was a Greenfinch

sounds like it!! Unless it was a tiny miniture dr who who's kidnapped the finch....

But Dr Who's only around on Saturday and it's not really his style....

Sparrowhawk's the most likely culprit I reckon. I often have one in my garden but not seen her get anything yet although the previous owners have seen her with a collared dove before.
