Divers always seem to give you those "Now you see it now you dont!" moments. You did well to get a photo.

Guy | We get a lot of Divers up here and they breed on some of the lochs. This one is coming into the bay where I live at high tide so could get quite close both yesterday and today. I have been told that all three main Divers breed here so I am hoping to get pictures of the red, black and more of the GN in its summer plummage. There has certainly been a lot of the red and Great Divers spotted but not many black so far.
I will keep looking. All the Eiders have returned and have started congregating into their breeding grounds. Soon there will be lots of Eider chicks in the small bays around. High Tides are best to see them.
