Best businesses for birds

It is easy to think that the increasing urbanisation and industrialisation of our country is damaging for wildlife (and it often is in terms of habitat destruction, pollution, etc.) but there are some excellent examples of companies working in in partnership with local communities on conservation initiatives.

The British Trust for Ornithology has recently announced the results of the BTO Business Bird Challenge 2006, a competition to find the country’s best industrial and commercial sites for birds.
