one of the schools in my town have put a web cam in a blue tit box very interesting to watch it has so far laid 2 eggs |

The webcam in Box 1 showed us the great tit's first egg on Wednesday 11th, and now she has 3 eggs (though a feather near the eggs looks a bit like a fourth one here) ......................... 
.........................and the bluetit in Box 2 produced her first egg this morning. 
It's going to be difficult to see any eggs in our third box (BBB) because the bluetit there has brought in so much nesting material that the 10cm marker is hidden from view now.
(The webcams are usually switched on for live pics until about 7.30pm, but playback is available until 10.30pm or later). |

Wow Elizabeth That is fantastic, How long will it be before they hatch ??

If you go to "Overview" on our website, you'll see a chart of significant dates from when we started in 2001 - the individual Summaries for each year have further details. |
