| | | Re: Glasgow's 'first' Peregrine chick raised in Red Road flats That's fantastic :-) I remember in the early 80s going with my parents to a rspb viewing station at symonds yat in the forest of Dean where a pair of peregrines were nesting there were very few about back then, it's fantastic to see them making such a strong recovery.

At a slight tangent on Bird Forums there's some great photos of an Eagle Owl that's taken to perching on some high ledges in Ashford recently. |

| | | Re: Glasgow's 'first' Peregrine chick raised in Red Road flats listened to the chap on the video clip. and he obviously has no idea about peregrines. commenting that they still plan to demolish the building .as the peregrines will be gone. absolute tosh. ive watched peregrines for the last 3 years in my town. and the ones in manchester for 5 years . and they dont go anywhere. thats their nest site. and they will return year after year.plus they stay resident all year round. they will move the chick on . when the times right. which is the norm. apart from what we all witnessed on springwatch. but these are magnificent bop. and you can spend hours watching them. im lucky as i see them on a daily basis. and you dont grow tired of watching them. rossy. |

As I say, they nest on the Cardiff City Hall clock tower year upon year
