James | We all have to start somewhere and we all need assistance at some stage.
Having good pictures makes the identification easier, so keep posting and asking.

| | | Re: Can anyone let me know what these are Ok, who stole the photos. All I can see is a blank space between paragraphs.
Edit. Sorry the photos opened up almost two minutes later. Having said that. There appear to be three ID's and yet only two photos. What was that all about.

That's the problem with external links. Far better to load into the forum or unidentified galleries. |

They are easily overlooked but if you ever get the chance just to sit and watch a small group of them, you will be amazed how quickly you can note the different characters amongst the group and the amusing way that they interact with each (the techies call this the 'pecking order'). Also, its worth remembering that today's common bird could be tomorrows rare bird -the Red Kite comes to mind(fortunes have been reversed), Lapwings and Sky Larks - no where near as common locally today as they were even 20 years ago.
Good luck with your photography.

| | | Re: Can anyone let me know what these are WOW! Thanks for the help, and sorry about the first post, did not know where to post the photo's so found that I could post them to another site, but got the links a bit screwed up, or at least chose the wrong links anyway.
Just getting into photographing birds, mostly into macro, but will gladly post more when I get lost.
Thanks again for all the help, really appreciate it.
