| | | Similar to a Pheasant
PLease can anyone tell me what this is, its about the size of a small chicken/bantum round plump and similar colours to female pheasant but the pretty marked feathers are on its chest. Is it a young pheasant (it doesnt have a long tail) I had 2 feeding in my garden this morning.

Does it look like any of these two photos I have taken? The first is a poor photo of a Grey Partridge. 
The 2nd is a Red-legged Partridge

Could it perhaps be a Red Legged Partridge?

Maybe its not so bright in colour as those photo's though maybe they are females?
