Bamboo Sparrowhawk Barrier
Posted 23-10-2011 at 04:16 PM by wozwzwzy101
This week I installed a 6' x 6' Sparrowhawk Barrier at a Point of Entry where the local Hawks like to swoop in to my garden Picking off unsuspecting feeding birdies.
I saw one hawk flew in so hard over the roof he made impact with the ground but still caught the sparrow he aimed for, who was feeding on the food that had fallen to the ground from the birdtable.
The SparrowHawk Barrier is constructed of horazontal 6' Bamboo with 15cm spaces that would let fleeing little birds through but not the hawks.
