I haven't always been a fan of blogs, and I might not be a fan of them for much longer , but for now I think they're OK.

So we've added blogs to Wild About Britain. To write your own, go to your control panel, select 'blog' from the bottom of the left-hand menu and start writing about any topic related to Wildlife and the Environment.

Don't know what to write about? You could pick a topic like wildcats, rare bird sightings in the UK, the weather, wildlife on TV,...

It's probably no surprise to learn that I'm not a big fan of external links on the website. It's not that I've got anything against them individually, I'm sure they're lovely most of the time and would probably do anything for you if you needed help, but they do have a habit of causing a lot of problems.

One of the things that I don't like about them is the way they can kill good conversation. Sure, they can be useful at times, but in many situations they can also seem to stop a fluid...

On the third attempt to move the gallery from vBGallery to Photopost and waiting for the medium images to resize, about 4 hours so far, and so thought I'd have a go at getting the Blog up and running.

The new gallery should have lots of new features that include thumbnail posts in the forums, nice urls etc.

We're also going to split the gallery to now have one area that's just for the exhibition of great british wildlife images and a second gallery to store unidentified...
