Sun was shining at first and the hayfever really kicked in. Nearly gave up as I found nothing in the sandy heath and wooded areas. Before I went I decided to have a quick look in the more lush grass/low birch scrub.
10 minutes in the scrub - OMG - nearly trod on a large male adder. He moved under the bush before I had a chance to get a snap. A second adder soon followed, again too... | Officer of the Wild Empire | | Comments 0
