| | Posted 30-03-2008 at 06:45 PM by nutmeg I spent some time down the garden today - and put my macro lens on the camera for the first time in a while.
Quite a few insects and spiders were out - including small tortoiseshell, peacock and brimstone butterflies.

| | Posted 12-03-2008 at 06:03 PM by nutmeg I went down the garden late this afternoon and was absolutely amazed to see kingfisher fly in from the stream at the bottom of the garden and perch briefly on a branch overhanging the pond. It then disappeared, but I could hear it calling for a while.
What a thrilling sight - and one I never thought I'd see in my garden | Commander of the Wild Empire | | Comments 2
