I trapped in the garden again and although numbers weren't high, I had a nice selection of moths including some new for the garden.

| | Posted 01-03-2009 at 10:26 PM by nutmeg The warmer weather over the weekend brought out a few insects in the garden - including a Peacock butterfly, several honey bees, more than a dozen 7-spot ladybirds, an ant damsel bug and a shield bug (Troilus luridus). | Officer of the Wild Empire | | Comments 0
| | Posted 22-02-2009 at 12:35 PM by nutmeg I was looking out of my bedroom window this morning when I saw a pair of bullfinches feeding on the buds of an ornamental prunus.
