Early Adder

The warmish sunny weather has got the adders out sunbathing. I went to a local wood and chanced upon one by the side of the path. I have a snake phobia and usually avoid this area of woodland except in the winter months... I hadn't expected to see one out and about so early! 
Anyway, seeing that I was frozen to the spot with fear, I thought I'd be incredibly brave and photograph it.
I'll post a photo as soon as I pluck up the courage to upload it from the camera!
