Big Garden Birdwatch 2009

Long tailed tit 2
Coal tit 1
Dunnock 1
Collared dove 1
Wood pigeon 2
Robin 3
Magpie 1
Moorhen 1
Mallard 2
Wren 1
Goldfinch 15
Siskin 11
The Goldfinches and Siskins were in a mixed flock, feeding on Alder cones and were a real surprise because I've seen only one Goldfinch in the garden in the past three years - and have never seen Siskins here before. It was so gloomy that I didn't take my camera down the garden with me - so no photographic record. They were great to watch, though
