Hound Wood (Farley-Pitton), Wilts
Posted 27-08-2008 at 09:02 AM by leifus
Mum and I cycled through Hound wood and then on from Farley to Pitton. In Hound wood I found greater knapweed, wall-pepper, orpine, devil's-bit scabious (lots and lots of this - I'm surprised they don't have marsh fritillaries each year!!) and what I think is old rosy garlic (I'll have to go back in May-June to confirm that). On the road to Pitton I found flax and then greater celendine in Pitton.
