Norfolk Trip
Ok I'll try again, somewhere on this site is a blog I've already written, just don't know where it ended up!!
Had a four day break in sunny Norfolk last week. Saw some fantastic display flights by the resident Marsh Harriers at Titchwell Marsh, along with some bearded Tits (wasn't quick enough with my camera for this though!) which I only got a quick glimpse of last month. Got some lovely photo's of the Marsh Harriers though (well I think so anyway)!

Also saw heaps of Avocet, geese, willow warbler, chiffchaff, wrens and many more. Spent most of Wednesday trying to find the elusive Cetti's Warbler that we could all hear but not see, infact I never did see. Even managed to see two muntjac deer in Titchwell Marsh woods, that was a bonus.
Visited Pensthorpe as well whilst visiting and took some lovely photo's of the Beared Tits that I couldn't photo in the wild. Must admit this excursion was planned more for my daughter than me, but in the end I think I enjoyed it just as much, if not more.
Spent lots of pennies on a nice, new scope, not worked out how to justify it to the other half yet though??? although I have promised to get rid of the entry level one on a certain auction site.
Met some really friendly peps at the Norfolk Bird Observatory at Holme and even decided to join the Norfolk Ornothological Association (hope i've spelt it nearly right if not totally) as I suspect I will be down again after my knee op within the next month
I can now visit outside their normal hours, yippee. Must find somewhere cheaper to stay when I go down though, at the moment I'm using the Premier Travel Inn at Kings Lynn, any suggestions gratefully received!
