Welcome to the Wild About Britain forums | | | | Following the lack of success in my first attempt, I will keep this updated on the next few attempts | | I have now had a redesign, it is now bigger, two-tiered, has a larger entrance but remains with the same 3.6v power and 8,000mcd LED.
I will post a species list if the Trap proves to be successful... | Knight Commander of the Wild Empire | | Comments 0
| | | After 14hrs of usage overnight, I checked the trap this morning (23/7/08) and, other than a Delichopus Long-legged fly caught 1hr and 10mins in, unfortunately the morning yielded nothing.
I imagine the problem with the trap was that the entry hole was the wrong shape/size, the collection tray was too small or the LED needs to be brighter.
I am now in the process of re-designing it and will post again soon.
Take care,
