7 Synergus reinhardi exited from 2 oak marble galls, 4 from one and 3 from another, though this is yet to be verified due to considerable size differences in them and the fact that they refuse to keep still long enough for examination under magnifying glass.
2 more D. rosae from bedeguar gall 7
add another Synergus reinhardi which I have just watched exit. All in all there are three large ones (one of which I have just been watching) and 5 smaller ones. followed by another big one so now that is 9 all told.
After spending all day on the net I am quite happy with the ID, but th size difference is interesting, ranging from 1.5mm for one 2mm for 4 and 3mm for the 4 biggest.
