Hopefully I'll finally get out and about tomorrow, but for the moment I've still been stuck in and around the house!
Still, can't complain about the sightings though, today when the sun finally came out and there was some warmth in the air I saw my first Peacock of the year, although it was slightly tatty!

Also a few Bumblebees around, including some which seem to be starting up a nest next to the pond which will be interesting to watch over the next few months. I noticed a few 7-spot Ladybirds basking, as well as 1 Harlequin Ladybird and one small black one which escaped before I could identify it (possibly a Heather Ladybird).
A couple of days ago I noticed the first Chiffchaff of the year in the garden, so hopefully it won't be long before a few more summer migrants start arriving. The Ravens are still quite active over the house, and today I had a record count of 8 Buzzards over the house. The highlight though was a Peregrine again, it flew over the house during the day a couple of times and then this evening when I checked the distant pylons I was excited to see 2 Peregrines perched up there, probably roosting. One was a lot larger than the other, so probably a male and a female, I would be delighted if they bred in the area!
