Had an unexpected garden sighting today when a Peregrine flew over, quite high up. It headed towards some pylons, circled them a couple of times and then landed on one of them. I managed to watch it for a while through the telescope, but it was very distant. It's been a long time since I last saw one over the garden, and I'll keep looking out for it over the next few weeks.
Still getting a few Siskins around, about 8 today, also loads of Goldfinches and a male Pheasant thats been taking advantage of the seed spilled from the feeders.
